Mandakini Sud is a strategic communications professional with over 15 years of international work experience spread across public, private, non-profit and development sectors. The last eight years of her career were mostly spent advising some of the world's leading organizations and their chief executives on communication strategy, media relations, reputation management, political and policy communication.
Mandakini specializes in creating marketing and communications strategies for organizations entering new markets, managing change, exploring partnerships, or in extreme distress. Her brand and crisis management advice is also sought on high-visibility transactions such as Mergers & Acquisitions and litigation as well as to mitigate reputational risk.
From 2010-2012, Mandakini served as India Head of Communications
for ArcelorMittal and Mittal Investments. Her client list includes – but
is not limited to – The World Bank, various agencies of The United Nations,
Global Environment Facility, Government of India, Huawei, Quintiles, SITA,
diplomatic consulates, international foundations and multinational companies.
Mandakini holds a postgraduate degree in Strategic Communication from American University in Washington DC. As visiting faculty at MICA, India’s premier academic institute for Strategic Marketing & Communication, she has designed and taught graduate-level curriculum courses.
